AT Betta Ride Tyre & Auto Services, things are changing for the better.
"We've always been known as suspension and brake specialists, but we have now diversified," said owner Bill Pophristoff.As well as continuing to carry out the suspension and brake work for which it has built up a strong reputation, Betta Ride now offers a range of services that have made it a virtual one-stop shop for busy vehicle owners."We have an expanded customer service to suit the busy lifestyle of people who don't have time to go to different places," said Mr Pophristoff.Servicing and maintenance for all makes and models of vehicles is now available at Betta Ride Tyre & Auto Services.A pick-up and drop-off service is available. Conditions apply.Another innovation soon to be available is a mobile service for tyres, batteries and puncture repairs.The service, to be known as Betta Ride Mobile Tyre Service, will be up and running in the next couple of months. The Betta Ride story goes back 40 years to its establishment by Bernie Parsons as a suspension and brake service for the Newcastle area.It was later bought by Simon Ball, who had worked there as a mechanic.Mr Pophristoff, a qualified mechanic who has been in the industry for about 24 years, came on board as a partner three years ago before buying Mr Ball out recently.Mr Ball has since established a mobile mechanical service which works closely with Betta Ride.Betta Ride, located in the well known "blue building" on the corner of Turton and Griffiths Roads, New Lambton, is also an agent for Fuchs Lubricants, which manufactures a comprehensive line of standard and custom-formulated lubricants.Customers who take advantage of a current offer in association with Fuchs will receive a free pen and stubby holder for services or Fuchs products purchased from Betta Ride. Bookings are essential for these services.Betta Ride maintains and services a number of fleet vehicles in the Newcastle area, and welcomes inquiries from other fleet operators.For information and bookings ring 4957 6521.
